Installing Data Analysis Tools On Excel 2011 For Mac Rating: 9,8/10 6218 reviews

The Analysis ToolPak is an Excel add-in program that provides data analysis tools for financial, statistical and engineering data analysis.

I am running OS X 10.2.4 and Office X including the Office X 10.2.1 update. Last weekend, I tried to add the Data Analysis Add-In from the Value Pack on my CD. It seemed to install successfully but then Excel 'unexpectedly quit'. Every time I tried to relaunch Excel, it would quit again. Removing the Data Analysis Add-In from the Add-In folder allowed Excel to start again.

Has anyone else run into this problem? Is there a workaround? Any help would be appreciated.

I have the same configuration as you do and it works here (if by Data Analysis Add-in you mean the Analysis Tool-pak (and I also have the Analysis Tool-Pak VBA). I'd try reinstalling and/or deleting preferences. Sounds like something is corrupt.

(If the Data Analysis Add-in is different, reply back and I'll try to find my v.X install disk and try it.) PS: I do have more Excel crashes than I'd like, but they usually happen on/just after saving some large file. On 2/25/03 11:49, in article, 'Scott' wrote: J.E. McGimpsey 25/2/2003, 17:10 น.
