I had Xamarin Studio installed before trying to install VS2017 for Mac. When looking at the Install log I noticed that the installer looked for Xamarin Studio, finds it, and then it says it is looking for localized versions of the components to be installed. So I quit the installer again, uninstalled Xamarin Studio, and re-ran the installer.
This time it showed up in English. I I agree with Wyco that this looks like a problem with the installer that is not respecting or using the language set on the Operating System. Hi J_Reinaldo, Thank you for your update and sharing.

By Installing Office 2011 for Mac is pretty simple, because Microsoft Office uses the standard Apple installer. Just double-click the installer icon to start the install process.
