Hi all, I know this has been asked a fair few times before but I am still confused as to what I should choose. I'm pretty set on getting the latest model of the 13' macbook pro. However, I can't afford to get the model with both the 256GB ssd AND 16GB of Ram. I almost exclusively use my laptop currently for graphic + web design and video editing, so photoshop, after effects, illustrator etc. I've been warned against getting the 128GB model as people have said that it would have a detrimental effect on the performance of these programs.

Now, I've little technical knowledge of how computers work, so I don't get how the ssd size would effect performance. Especially because currently all I use my hard drive for is to put programs on; all my photos are stored on an external ssd and I use google drive for all my documents. I wouldn't get close to filling 128GB with personal files. What would be better - 128GB + 16GB Ram, or 256GB with 8GB Ram?
