Select the grouped object. Command-D (Duplicate) three times for an eight card page, 4 times for a ten card page.

Position the most recent duplicate in the bottom left space. Select all 4 (or 5). Go Arrange > Align Objects > Left' Go Arrange > Distribute Objects > Vertically.

With all four (five) objects still selected: Duplicate (once) Click and drag the selected objects to the right column. Use the blue alignment guides to drop them in the correct vertical alignment. Use the arrow keys to nudge the cards into their final position. Less cmplicated than it looks in the list.
